Over the past 12 months Volcanic has opened offices in London, Liverpool and Doncaster. In November the opening of the Kuala Lumpur office continued the business’s international expansion.

The team has expanded to 30 staff (from 12 this time last year) we have increased the number of live customers five fold with an additional three fold increase due in the next 12 months.

In the last year, we have launched three new products (Updated Recruitment Platform, Jobboard System and Intranet System) and made over 57 major functional system wide changes. and as well as handling over 6,337 support tickets for our customers.

We have entered into several partnership programmes, have built a developer console thats allows integration with our platform to be handled seemlessly and support 17 seperated CRM integrations so far.

Our platform handles over 250,000 active users, has a throughput average of 1,200 request per second and an average server response time of 335 miliseconds (it's fast). We also send out a total of 222,000 emails a month and this is also increasing rapidly.

Not everything has been smooth though, over the last year we have had three incidents of downtime with a total system unavailable time of 2 hours 24 minutes ( 144 minutes during system changes) this gives a system 99.97% availability (the same as Microsoft provided over the whole of 2015 for their cloud based 365 service).

Volcanic are also committed to our own systems and processes, in the last year we have achieved Investors In People status, we have been appointed Northwest export champions for the UKTI and have completed our work for ISO9001 and will have our assessment very soon.

If you add our meeting with Prime Minister David Cameron, The Rt Hon Sajid Javid MP Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills and our achieving MSC status in Malaysia it's been our most active year since we started in 2010.

What will the rest of 2016 bring, well time will tell but we will continue to expand and have some very exciting news about our growth very soon.
