Volcanic, has secured a major new contract whilst on this week’s UK trade mission to Singapore, jointly attended by leading British businesses and representatives from the government’s department of trade and investment.
During the successful trade mission, Volcanic signed a deal with award-winning, Singapore-based recruitment agency, Achieve Group, to provide web development and strategy for three websites across Asia-Pacific – in Singapore, Malaysia and Hong Kong.
The deal is the direct result of the UKTI and Volcanic working in close partnership to build connections between local businesses in Singapore and companies based in the North of the UK, starting at the Global Recruiter event in October 2014 at the Marina Bay Sands Expo & Convention Centre, and culminating with the deal being concluded at the UKTI Northern Powerhouse Trade Mission in Singapore.
Volcanic co-founder, Rob Wilde, says that he sees the Singapore trade mission as an invaluable springboard for the company to access new markets:
