Volcanic, a leading digital agency in Manchester will start their own program of social media training courses in 2012. The first course will start on the 11th January and is intended to help local businesses understand and increase sales using social media.
At present there are plans for a 2 different courses:
- An introduction to social media
- Increasing Sales using social media
The first is intended for those who are looking for a brief overview of all the major social networks. This course provides the basis to enable those to use the social web and make the most of what’s available out there for free.
The second course is more business focused and aimed towards increasing sales. Attendees are expected to have a solid understanding of Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn. During this half day course various techniques are discussed in an open forum and the instructor will take real examples from attendees to look at what they can do to increase sales using social media.
